Saturday Afternoon

Mom looks much better. She walked around a lot today - once without the walker - and is now sipping some ginger ale and talking with the nurse about opera. Also, she feels hungry, which is a good sign that her digestive tract is beginning to operate again. Thank you for your prayers - may she continue to recover swiftly!

The nurse will also try taking Mom off Dilaudid (an intravenous pain killer) and will try giving her oral pain medication. This will be done on a trial basis - if she gets nauseous they will go back to the Dilaudid.

Joanne, You have been heavy on our hearts each and every day. We love you and miss you and your family. Nathan is praying and asking for you as well as the girls. Rachel wrote and recorded a song for you and we will be sending it on to you soon.

Sending all our love Bob, Lisa, Nate, Hannah and Rachel Davis (who really misses her teacher)

To Joanne and All of the Jurascheck Family,

You have been and will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. I've been so pleased to read about the good progress Joanne has been making. I pray for all of your intentions and for a speedy recovery.

With Fond Regards,

Hey Jo, Paul and nieces/nephews,

Bro/uncle mike here again...it's great to read about your progress Jo...hope Paul is feeling well...
OK...so I am cutting our 5 acres with the cub cadet 'tank' zero turn mower...wearing the green John Deere (owner's edition) hat and lo and behold I run over some deer antlers...well just one....thought it was a tree branch at first...is that like a baby tooth falling out...i assume the buck is going to grow another one...probably larger than this one... well i'm going to keep it don't know if it is worth anything on the open market...but i dont think he wants it back....not likely there is an "antler fairy", and I'm certainly not...i'm the hick with the green j deere hat....Wow Joanne you are talking opera with the nurse you must be feeling better...either that or give me some of that medication they are giving you.... ;~) The prayer warriors are still praying you all the way to full recovery...keep on truckin and restin and smilin....

love and hugs,

Michael
