Dad and Andrew visited Mom in the post-operative recovery room. She is in a lot of pain, has a high blood pressure, and her temperature is high. She still needs our prayer. Her high blood pressure is a cause for concern. The nurse doesn't foresee her leaving the recovery room soon because of these complications. Seeing Mom in such a vulnerable state has been particularly hard for Andrew - please remember to pray for him as well.

We continue to pray for you all throughout the days, and for Joanne's specific needs you mentioned in the emails today.
When my mom (Mary Rideout) had her surgeries, it was a hard state to see her in afterwards, but it does get much better after a couple days.
Please let Joanne know that I continue to pray for her, she is in my thoughts constantly. I had sent her an email last Thursday, but am not sure she got it before she was admitted to the hospital.
In Christ,
Amy (Rideout) Horrocks
"Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer" (Romans 12:12).
We are praying for you everyday.
Trust in God. He is all that you
need. Andrew, the Lord is with
you and your family. We treasure
your family and so does the Lord.
Love,
little Daniel and Jacob
Dear Joanne and Paul,
We have been praying for you everyday, especially today. We read the messages from the blog posted by Stephen and know now is not a good time to visit you, but our hearts stay with you and your family all the time.
Do you have the pathology report? We hope the type of cancer is easily curable and can respond well to chemotherapy.
Be strong and optimistic, Joanne, although it is hard to do under these circumstances. Have faith in God, He is our hope, He is the only one who can guide you go through this difficult time. "He Himself took away our infirmities and bore our diseases" (Matthew 8:17)
We certainly will pray hard for your recovery, for an accurate diagnosis, for the best treatment plan made by the oncologist…
Please let us know if you need any help.
Grace and Mercy be with you
The Li family
