Wednesday evening Joanne had her IV needle reconnected to the port that had been previously set up. This was painful for a moment, but the nurse was skilled and succeeded the first time.
Afterwards we had a time of prayer with some of the elders from the church. In the prayer, there was a mutual identification between Joanne and the Body through the brothers. There was a sense of a strengthening and covering as Joanne's situation was presented to the Lord. We experienced the Lord exercising His authority through His Body. Joanne prayed for a continuing openness throughout this experience to cooperate with the Lord for His purpose. We also prayed for Joanne's roommate and others who we contact in the hospital that His word would go forth and His testimony expressed.
